Business Valuation

We provide independent valuations of companies, shares and intangible assets for decisions that carry financial and legal weight. Each engagement uses recognized valuation approaches, supported by financial analysis and current market evidence, and results in a report written to withstand review by auditors, regulators, banks and opposing counsel.

We specialize in privately held companies, SMEs, partnerships, family corporations and other non-listed entities.

What We Value

  • Whole businesses and going concerns
  • Capital stock, controlling interests and minority interests
  • Shares of closely held and family corporations
  • Intangible assets such as trademarks and brands, patents, licenses and contracts, franchises, copyrights, customer lists and goodwill

Common Purposes

  • Mergers, acquisitions, share sales and buyouts
  • SEC requirements and Audited Financial Statements (AFS)
  • Shareholder disputes and partnership dissolution
  • Estate settlement, donor’s and capital gains tax
  • Bank financing and investor presentations
  • Strategic and succession planning

Why Choose Ringor Appraisal?

Every report is prepared and signed by Erwin Adams L. Ringor, REA, a PRC Licensed Real Estate Appraiser, in accordance with the Philippine Valuation Standards (PVS) and International Valuation Standards (IVS). We serve clients nationwide from our offices in Manila and Tarlac.

Our reports are independent, clearly documented and written to be relied upon by management, auditors, banks, courts and government agencies — and all client information is kept strictly confidential.

What information do you need for a business valuation?

Typically the last three to five years of audited financial statements, the latest General Information Sheet (GIS), SEC registration documents, a list of major assets, and a short company profile. We will send a complete checklist based on the purpose of the valuation.

Depending on the business and the purpose, we apply the income, market and cost (asset-based) approaches, and reconcile the results into a supported conclusion of value.

At present we serve privately held companies, SMEs, partnerships and non-listed entities only.
